BYOD Instructional methods/tools
The purpose of this program is to assist educators in becoming more in sync with technology through the use of online professional development focused on tools which enhance a BYOD environment. This is not limited to the classroom teacher, but all educators involved in BYOD programs. The website has been broken into 3 major categories: creative, collaborative, organizational, and query types of tools. There are 2 individual professional development opportunities within each type - modules, if you will - so that educators can pick and choose which module will work best for them, or that they feel would be appropriate for use in their educational setting.
The modules are also focused on the instructional paradigm shift from traditional "sage on a stage" style to more "student centered" learning formats. Click on any of the tabs to start your online learning experience. The individual modules have buttons that will take you to a particular tool's assignments and resources. You can look into each module without having to complete and submit the work if you would like to check it out before you begin. CEU's will be given to those educators that complete any particular professional development opportunity fully.
Note: There is an "extras" available such as Google tools and tips/resources from the drop down. These are simply various resources that can be used to enhance instruction and are not for CEU credit.
