ASSIGNMENT 1: Take the things that you should have been looking for during the video and the information from the articles to create a blog posting on how you would possibly use Kahoot! and/or game-based learning in your classroom. Once you have written your blog posting post on the Kahoot! Blog Site. Step 2Kahoot! is a great tool for a quick review, introduction of a unit's vocabulary, or testing for knowledge. After viewing the instructional video on how to set up a Kahoot! you'll be creating one of your own. Things to think about before watching the video are:

Now that you know some of the limitations of this tool - shorter questions and response characters - create an opportunity in one of your lesson plans to integrate/create a Kahoot! in your class. You can search for public Kahoot! games that have already been created for ideas.
ASSIGNMENT 2: This is a two step process. First create your lesson plan opportunity using the techniques you've learned about student-based learning and incorporating a Kahoot! into the lesson. Post them in the box to the right. Second create the actual Kahoot! you would use in your classroom/professional opportunity. Share your Kahoot! with kate.keller using the "SHARE" option within the Kahoot! game tool. |

Once you have heard back from the program facilitator with regard to your lesson and Kahoot! creation implement your lesson in a classroom or professional setting.

ASSIGNMENT 4:
Take an assignment/unit where you would be the one creating a short quiz about a subject to test for knowledge. Change that quiz into a group project where the students would be creating a quiz for the unit using Kahoot! as a tool. Please use Google Docs for your lesson plans. If they are originally in Word just upload and share. Post the "shared" link in the box on the left when you've completed your modified lesson. |
